HELP
How do I sign up to take a class?
Simply open the DynEd courseware, create your JEEP account, take a pre-placement test, and then choose for the module of your choice and study level. Follow the prompts on the specific module.
What does it cost to take a JEEP course?
JEEP courses (Start and Accelerate) are available for all students who are officially enrolled in JEEP for a semester, provided that payment of Php 950.00 to the Cashier has been made.
What happens after I sign up for a course?
Simply follow the prompts in the DynEd courseware. You will need to log in each time you access your course. Once you're logged in, you can access the lectures, presentations, exercises, reviews, among others, one at a time.
Are the courses only offered in English?
English is the language used in the courseware. Some JEEP modules have the specific options of choosing what accent you wish to study.
When does Start and Accelerate start and/or finish?
These two JEEP courses will usually start by June and November and will end by October or March of each semester. Please check the JEEP-SSCT Facebook Photos Page for future updates and announcements.
Is there any prerequisites for JEEP courses?
For JEEP Start 1, there is no prerequisite as long as it is "embedded" in your curriculum or , in other case may be, if the JEEP shall be taken as "stand-alone." You will be only allowed to take the course modules after taking the pre-placement test. JEEP Start 1 will be the prerequisite for JEEP Start 2. And, JEEP Start 1 and 2 will be the prerequisite for JEEP Accelerate.
What happens if I have to quit a course?
You may be given with a grade of "INC" (Incomplete) by your facilitator remarked with incomplete or lacking requirements; "DRP" (Dropped) if you have to officially drop out from the course, "5.0" (Failed) if you fail the requirements set by your facilitator. Once you're given a rating of "5.0" (Failed), you have to re-enroll the course.
How much time will I have to spend to pass any JEEP course?
The projected hours of study required for each course are described in the course syllabus. Usually, as embedded, it will take 2 hours of exploration and 1 hour lecture for a week; as stand-alone, it will take 3 hours of exploration a week. Meanwhile, extension activities will be provided by facilitators as enrichment lessons.
Will my grade be shown on my certificate?
No. Only study hours are displayed on certificate of completion.
